Contact us anytime.

Do I need to be at least 50 years old to be a part of Ageless Adventures?

Yes… except for participating in the Forever Useful collaborative collective.

Am I too old to learn to surf?

You are never too old to learn to surf, or do anything for that matter. We have this one precious life and that age is just a number. We need to stop following and listening to the talk which we have been told forever that as women we are too old to do {fill in the blank with a sport or activity of your choosing}. We can do whatever we put our minds to.

I don’t consider myself ‘sporty’ enough to try something new, especially a higher energy activity. How can I get started?

Stop, Breath. Focus. Change the words “don’t consider” to “I am capable of…”

I identify as non-binary. Is this a supportive environment for me?

The Ageless Adventures team makes it a priority to be knowledgeable about the various ways by which people identify, and to understand the basics about gender, pronouns and a lived experience that is not one’s own.

How strong do I need to be to surf?

Strong in mind and reslilency. Body needs to have a sense of paddling using proper technique but that technique can be learned over time. Good core and some flexibility and strenght in the shoulders.

What do I need to do to get ready for my first triathlon?

Do an assessment of your physical and mind strengths as well as some of your challenges. First and foremost: ask yourself what is the driving force behind wanting to start multisport racing. Do a fitness assessment. Having access to a member /members of the triathlon community will be super helpful to get started. See if there is a triathlon club in your area and reach out to them.

Does Ageless Adventures offer triathlon focused training?

At this current time, we are not certified trainers or coaches yet we do have over 10 years of experience with the sport and is putting together a course for those wanting to venture into the world of triathlons and how to get it all started.
